Bambi was a beautiful soul who brought endless love and joy into the lives of everyone she met. Born on July 24, 2021, she left us too soon on April 18, 2025, but her sweet spirit will furever remain in our hearts.

She was and is adored by all, especially her brother Prince and sister Lilly. Bambi was the gentlest and most affectionate dog, always ready with wagging tail and kisses for every visitor. Whether it was zoomies in the yard or cuddling on the couch, she filled every day with warmth and happiness. She especially loved playing with Prince and Lilly, creating countless cherished memories of their playful trio.

Though her time with us was short, Bambi’s unconditional love touched everyone around her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered as the loving heart of the family.

American Pocket Bullies are the smallest variety of the American Bully, a modern companion breed developed in the United States from American Pit Bull Terrier and American Staffordshire Terrier lines (with some Bulldog influence).

Key Characteristics

Size: Males typically 14–17 inches at the withers; females 13–16 inches. Weight usually ranges from 30–45 pounds (though some sources vary). They have a compact, stocky, muscular build with a broad chest, blocky head, and short, smooth coat.

Temperament: Known for being affectionate, loyal, friendly, and eager to please. They are generally good with families and children when properly socialized and trained, making them popular companion dogs.

History: Recognized as part of the American Bully breed (standardized around 2004 by the ABKC). The "Pocket" type was selectively bred for a smaller, more compact frame while retaining the bully's signature muscular appearance.

They require moderate exercise, early socialization, and firm training. Like other bully breeds, they can face health concerns related to their build (e.g., joint issues). Overall, they are prized as loving, people-oriented pets rather than working dogs.
